@Steve. Your post made me think of the pyramid scheme of Madoff's. He needed a constant supply of money, so he was probably doing just like the GB, "Don't give up NOW". (Don't my investors know I LOVE their money??? They don't need it. I do! Gimme gimme gimme!).

One day, hopefully soon, most of the Western world with computers, will wake up to all the twisted lies and manipulations of the JW..org Business Management Group and leave.

The man behind the curtain will be exposed with all their corruption and filth. What normal person would want to be associated with THAT group?

hi everyone.. this is just a thought, while reading bill bowen's silent lambs website i was interested to find out how long ago the figure of 23,000 molesters was published.. well it was in 2002.. in the spring of 2002, silentlambs was contacted by three different sources who claimed to have connected with people inside the headquarters of the watchtower bible & tract society of new york, located in patterson , new york .

these insiders provided silentlambs contacts with a computer data base number of 23,720 child molesters on file there.

so as the spring of 2002 was just over 15 years ago i wonder how many more have been added to the list ?.

@mrmagic... You have said many things that are food for thought.

But, I also must add about innocent children (your words, groomed and brainwashed into accepting it...). When they are subjected to such abuse, they become traumatized. So traumatized by the event, that when the next unwanted touching happens, sometimes they are totally unprepared as to what to do. Innocent children expect the adults to be good and nice and to act proper, but many, unfortunately, are not what they seem.

Depending on the age of the child when abuse first happens and if it is a boy or a girl.

You are aware that for some children, their innocence is taken away so early in babyhood, diaper age, that they can become so traumatized by it all, they can become mute, and might appear to be complacent, but it is more like... What is going to happen to me next? Will I survive this time???

WT is MrEvil. Possibly the victims that step up and speak out are only the tip of the ice berg. WT does protect pedophiles. There is no denying that. How many perpetrators are there really in each congregation? If we knew, we would all be shocked!

Where is the proof?

we all know that the governing body claim to be "god's representatives" and the "faithful and discreet slave" that dispenses spiritual food..... but where is the proof?.

according to the bible (if we just for a moment take it as a reliable source), all of god's representatives in the past furnished proof of their appointment - not just self referential claims or statements.. for instance, moses and aaron performed miracles before pharaoh (such as the snake staffs.).

other prophets performed signs and miracles such as making the sun stand still, healing sick people, making walls fall down, etc etc.... even jesus performed miracles as proof of his divine appointment!.

They trade in lies and manipulation. They will say whatever they feel they need to say to stay in control and power over others. They will never ever say they are wrong, even when it is in front of them in black and white.

They cannot be trusted.

Why Are More JWs Claiming to be Anointed?

most jws i know claim they are happy being in the great crowd.

they'd rather live on a paradise earth and pet lions than go to heaven.. heaven is a place they can't relate to, a place where they don't expect their friends and loved ones to be.. so why are more and more jws claiming to be of the anointed?.

aren't they looked down upon as if they are crazy, proud, ignorant, or engaging in apostate thinking?.

I agree to all of the above.

Adults don't believe in Santa Claus... But will believe some psychopathic men in New York tell them if they jump threw all of these hoops for them... They will gua-ran-tee you are going to live for-ever (which no one does) on a beautiful earth AND... people line up to jump threw those hoops! Really quite amazing just how naive humans can be.

AND, in this same package of supposed delights... If you really want to appear extra Holy, tell them God told you he has a special seat in heaven waiting just for you! Now that should get you special treatment at the kingdom hall. Once a year you get to eat 1 cent worth of dry crackers and a 25 cent sip of red wine.

Some people will do anything for attention AND a free lunch. lol

Some Good News About Me (Although Anthony Morris Will Be Furious)

just wanted to share with you some good news i'm really excited about.

i have been accepted for university to study psychology and counseling.

my goal is to become a counselor and, in time, to specialize on treating those who have left high control relationships/groups like we all did.. it'll take a few years before im qualified but studying in university has been a dream of mine since i was 12, which was systematically dashed to pieces by watchtower.. .

What a beautiful day for service!

i heard this expression very often and even said it often myself.

now that i am out, i realize this isn't always the case.

there were many times i was going out in service saturday morning and couldn't wait for 12:00 to come along so that we could go swimming, bicycling, play basket ball, go to the beach... .

So happy for most of us on this forum who "qustioned our religion" like a thinking human being should question anything... Before they commit themselves.

PS What you outlined above, I cannot imagine doing it AND especially doing it for a worldwide real estate fraud religion telling me I must do it for them and for free or else they will take all of my family and friends away from me and call me an evil person to boot. Hey! Slavery is supposed to be outlawed in progressive countries. This is 2017!

I know someone who is so excited to go to their regional convention. She said she was in New York in 1958 and that was a great one, but this one is going to be even greater.

She loves the music. She is so desperate to be young and beautiful FOREVER lol that I think she would eat turd pies if they were sanctioned by the 7 Fools in New York.

I recall not that many years ago when a letter was read. You must not hold hands with your marriage partner during prayer. It might offend someone.

Your telling them about your brown (recluse) spider bite and that the GB of the day 40 years ago wouldn't have 'allowed" the anti venum and now, nu-lite from 7 uneducated clowns and you can. That sure would have got my grey matter thinking. I like the way you handled yourself.

May I ask, how is your bite area? Have you healed up? Those bites are horrible. I knew a guy that got bit. Not pretty.

I too would like an explanation: If the 7 Fools are not inspired, why look to them for ANY advise? Thankfully, I don't anymore but with family and friends still captured by them...

My Reverse-Shunning Letter To My Mother

i mailed the below letter to my mother a few weeks ago.

i did share it on the ex-jw facebook group but thought i'd post it here.. basically, she's shunned me since day 1, has little or nothing to do with my 3yo daughter and told my sister "i hope <my daughter> becomes a jw when she's older so i can welcome her into the family".

well, that was the last straw for me..
